If you have been following our blog, you might know that we love inviting you behind the scenes to witness our creative adventures. We have a bit of a penchant for collaborations – with other brands, designers, charities and establishments that we feel share similar values, beliefs or mission. Therefore, we are most pleased to let you on our latest venture – a very special collaboration with the Royal Automobile Club, which will take place in February next year. If you think it is a long time away, we promise you – it is time to fasten the seat belts, because are ready to take you on our behind the scenes journey and show you how we plan and prepare to practice what we preach.
First of all, let us introduce our partner. The Royal Automobile Club is a quintessentially British establishment, rooted in tradition and exclusivity – the type that the British are known to carry out with aplomb. Headquartered in London’s Pall Mall, it describes itself as “a private members’ club that combines over 100 years of tradition with contemporary and luxurious facilities.” And rightly so! Founded in 1897 to encourage the development of motoring in Britain, it not only still exists nowadays, but is also one of the most exclusive members clubs that one can find on the British Isles.
Risking to appear immodest, we quickly found the similarities – the Royal Automobile Club’s dedication to superb quality, traditions and utmost services, is just what we at Anya Sushko stand for. These values, embodied by the club and lived by us day by day, led us to explore a relationship that we very much look forward to.
On a sunny day this summer, we travelled to the club’s out of London facilities – in the leafy Epsom, in Surrey, to discuss how to bring the Anya Sushko experience to life for the Royal Automobile Club members. Everything about it was special and magic – from the secluded bus stop outside, covered in trees and plants, to walking through the grand iron gates of Woodcote Park to discover a world of tucked away green spaces, tranquil terraces and fountains, where members leisurely enjoy drinks and conversation and displays of vintage cars we thought only existed in movies.

We are delighted to announce that we have been invited to hold a private event for the clubs’ members on the 5th of February 2015, to showcase our work and talk about what makes Anya Sushko the contemporary luxury handbag brand, dedicated to withholding the highest craftsmanship standards and to making rare nowadays bespoke services available to many. As only members will be able to attend, we look forward to sharing with you bits and pieces from this experience.
